DownloadWindows helper app for the reading workstation
Send the report you are dictating to RadPro AI and paste the polished result back with one key each, from any dictation system and any PACS. Built for workstations that handle patient data: no cloud AI inside, no stored passwords, no report data on the network, an audit trail on the machine.
01Film
Demonstration with a synthetic case, for education only. RadPro AI is not intended for use as a medical device; the radiologist reviews and signs every report.
A short look at RadPro Hub, the Windows helper for RadPro AI. Backtick sends the report open in your dictation editor to RadPro AI in your browser, where it opens as a new report and processing starts, and Ctrl+Backtick pastes the polished report back over the draft (Ctrl+Z undoes it). It works with any dictation system and any PACS, and from a programmable microphone button. In your browser, PHI redaction, on by default, masks identifiers before the report reaches our servers. The Secure edition has no AI inside and stores no passwords. Report text moves only on a keypress, the clipboard is wiped 20 seconds after each transfer, the report keys refuse to run while Windows clipboard sync across devices is on, and every send, paste and refusal is written to a hash-chained audit trail on the workstation. Its only outbound connection is to radpro.ai for signed updates, installed when you choose Restart to update. RadPro Hub is a workstation helper, not a medical device: every report is a draft you read, correct and sign.
02Scope
Backtick sends the open report to RadPro AI, Ctrl+Backtick pastes the polished report back into your editor, Alt+Backtick inserts the "Integrate these findings" marker. F20 for programmable mic buttons.
PowerScribe 360 and One are detected automatically. Everything else works through the window in front when you press the key: Fluency, Dragon Medical One, a RIS or PACS reporting module, a browser-based editor. The PACS is only ever a keystroke target.
The Secure edition contains no third-party AI module and no API key. Report text goes only to the RadPro AI tab in your own browser, which replaces the identifiers it detects before the text reaches the AI service.
The helper opens exactly one listener, on 127.0.0.1, so radpro.ai in your browser can follow the open case. It carries an opaque study token that is stable on this computer and meaningless anywhere else, never the accession number. Its only outbound traffic goes to radpro.ai/downloads: a signed update check a few minutes after start and every 6 hours, and the download of a newer signed build when one exists. None of it carries an account, install id or report data, and it can be turned off.
Report text is wiped from the Windows clipboard 20 seconds after each transfer. The report keys refuse to run while Windows cloud clipboard sync is on, and the helper warns you when clipboard history is on.
Every send, paste and refusal is appended to a hash-chained JSON log with the Windows user, computer and time. No report text, no identifiers. Verify the chain from the Compliance page.
The Secure edition has no site-password or browser-login automation. It relies on your Windows sign-in and your RadPro AI login with MFA.
A live checklist of the build and the workstation: cloud engine absent, no credentials, clipboard settings, screen lock, audit chain. Each item says what to change and where.
03Setup
Try the first pass with a synthetic report. The helper ships with a commented RadProHub.ini, and every setting is optional.
Put the folder somewhere you keep (not Downloads). It holds RadProHub.exe, a commented RadProHub.ini and a README. Nothing to install, no admin rights, no Python.
SmartScreen warns once for an unsigned app: More info, Run anyway. Choose "Install and start" so it lives in your user profile and starts with Windows. It sits in the system tray.
Left-click the tray icon, open Compliance. Turn off Windows clipboard sync across devices if it is on (Settings, System, Clipboard); clipboard history only raises a warning. Everything else should already be green.
Keep a browser tab titled "RadPro AI" open. Click into your report, press Backtick. The report arrives; when the polished version is ready press Ctrl+Backtick to paste it back.
04Hotkeys
All keys are global and can be changed in Settings. Pause them all from the tray icon. With PowerScribe the Hub also follows the open report on radpro.ai; with any other system the report keys act on the window in front when you press them.
| Backtick | Send the open report to RadPro AI |
| F20 | Same as Backtick, for a programmable microphone button |
| Ctrl+Backtick | Paste the polished report back into the editor (Ctrl+Z undoes it) |
| Alt+Backtick | Insert the "Integrate these findings:" marker |
| Shift+Backtick | Send with Generate Template on (when Smart workflow is off) |
| Ctrl+Shift+Backtick | Store the signed report, de-identified, in your RadPro AI account to compare with the AI draft |
These sets change what ordinary keys do across Windows, so the Secure edition ships them switched off. Turn one on in Settings, Hotkeys, with its Use these keys box.
05Limits
These features exist in the founder's personal build and were left out of the published one on purpose. Their code is not in the executable, and the build verifies that before the zip is produced.
06Caution
07Impression
The helper drives the RadPro AI web workflow in your normal browser. Google sign-in works as usual.
Still using the original hotkey helper? RadProHotkey.ahk (backtick, Win+backtick, Alt+backtick, Ctrl+backtick) remains available, but it has no clipboard hygiene, no audit trail and no compliance checks. The Secure edition of RadPro Hub replaces it with the same workflow.
