Why RadPro AI Exists

Built by a practicing radiologist for complex cases. Why we keep a free plan, improve RadPro every week, and invite you to help shape it.

We believe radiologists should have access to useful AI tools and a straightforward way to try them. That is why RadPro AI exists. If it helps your work, use it. If something gets in the way, tell us. We are thankful you are here, experimenting with workflows built by radiologists for radiologists.

It started with the complex cases

RadPro was built by a practicing radiologist who still reads cases and uses the app on real worklists. The starting point was familiar: a trauma pan-scan with more than twenty findings, an oncology follow-up spread across several prior studies, or a case involving several organ systems. You have read the images and dictated what you see. There is still a report to organize and an impression to write.

We wanted help with that part of the day. A place to bring the findings together, structure a draft, work on the impression and review changes without repeatedly moving text around. The radiologist brings the interpretation and decides what belongs in the signed report. RadPro works from that radiologist's words.

Some cases are already simple to dictate and finish. Use your judgment about where an extra tool belongs. We built RadPro around the complicated reports because that is where we wanted help ourselves, and where the details of the workflow matter most.

Useful today, better next week

AI is only useful in a reading room if the whole interaction is worth your time. Waiting for a draft that gets halfway there, then spending longer putting it right, defeats the purpose. We pay attention to the wait, the editing and the clicks that come after the first answer. A new capability matters less than whether you can actually use it.

RadPro is improving every week. Here are three changes shipped in the past week that show what we mean:

  • Impression only goes straight to the impression. When you have dictated findings and choose this output, RadPro now works from those findings without first building a template and integrating them into it. Asking for one part of the report should not require drafting the others first.
  • The report has its own writing pane. The full workspace now puts the polished report in the main view, with one place for revisions. You can preview suggested QA fixes for one listed item or the whole list, then accept or discard the preview. Copy full report stays close to the document you are reviewing.
  • Asking for a change takes less setup. One-click presets now include paragraph prose and reordering for flow. You can also type your own request in the change composer, including in Mini Mode. Small controls like these come from using the tool and noticing where an ordinary edit takes too much effort.

None of this makes a draft final. You still review every word and sign the report. These changes are practical improvements to how you work with the text, and we will keep making them as we learn what colleagues need.

Access matters to us

Democratizing AI for radiologists means giving people room to try it for themselves. The free plan includes ten reports a month, with no credit card required. It is a way to experiment at your own pace and decide whether RadPro belongs in your routine.

We also have a paid Premium plan. Pricing helps cover running costs and continued development. Our aim is to build useful tools for colleagues rather than maximize revenue. We want the free plan to be a real option, and the reasons to pay to be clear on the pricing page.

Help us make it useful for you

Start with the sample case and see how the workflow feels. Try the parts that interest you. Use the in-app feedback button when a step is confusing, a draft needs too much editing, or you wish a control worked differently. Tell us what you were trying to do and where you got stuck. Those details give us something concrete to improve.

If you would rather walk through it together, request a free 30-minute orientation with the founder. Bring your questions about getting started or fitting RadPro into your reporting routine. You do not need to have it figured out before joining us.

Thank you for trying something new with us. We are building the tool we wanted in our own reading room, and your feedback helps us understand yours.

The RadPro AI team

RadPro AI is a documentation and drafting aid for licensed medical professionals. It is not intended for use as a medical device, does not interpret images, and every draft must be reviewed and signed by the responsible radiologist. Reports are stored in Toronto; the AI steps run on Amazon Web Services in the United States, with placeholders in place of the identifiers RadPro AI detected when identifier protection is on.
